© Team TANGOWhat AirSofter wouldn't sacrifice a body part for one of these bad boys? If you can find one (they're out of production) you'll probably pay enough that you wish you could give up a body part instead. For those of us who can only dream of owning one, Team TANGO has posted a review and images of one they acquired.

© APEC Asia Pacific has received some new items. They now have the new Tokyo Marui M203. They also have the new Guns Digest 2001 for $30.60 USD. The Guns Digest 2001 is a must have for all collectors. It is a visual listing of all AirSoft guns and accessories, as well as many other types of replicas. The text is in Japanese, but the pictures and stats are worth the purchase.

The Marines are landing in Texas:

Some more news about LEGO Star Wars sets. I have learned that slated for 2001 are the following:

  • Technic C3PO
  • Technic Stormtrooper

Pictures of these new kits can be found at From Bricks to Bothans.

The following new LEGO Star Wars sets are now available at Toys"R"Us:

  • 7106: Escape Pod
Includes C3PO minifig and R2D2 minifig.
  • 7126: Droid Transport
Includes Pilot Battle Droid minfig and six Battle Droid minifigs.
  • 7127: AT-ST
Includes Chewbacca minifig. Unfortunately, this kit bears almost no resemblance to the original AT-ST and does not include an AT-ST Driver minifig.
  • 7146: TIE Fighter
Includes TIE Pilot minifig and standard Stormtrooper minifig. Now, if they would just make available a box of standard Stormtroopers.
  • 7166: Imperial Shuttle
Includes Emperor Palpatine minifig, Shuttle Pilot minifig, and two Imperial Royal Guard minifigs.
  • 7186: Watto's Junkyard
Includes Watto minifig and Aldar Beedo minifig.

© DEN TrinityApparently even more impatient for the release of the new Tokyo Marui P-90 than I am, Den Trinity has an article posted on their news site about a conversion they are doing. They are going to put Tokyo Marui internals into an old ToyTec P-90.

The Tansformers Movie has made it to DVD. This is the original US movie featuring the voices of Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle, and more, as well as a song by Weird Al Yankovic. For those of you who haven't seen it, this movie revealed the change-over from Optimus Prime to Ultra Magnus as leader of the Autobots. Special features include images of original storyborads and remastered sound.

The new Tokyo Marui M203 is out, and is currently available from many of the overseas distributors. It is available in versions for the M16 and M4 as well as a "pistol" stand-alone version.

N2 Toys, makers of The Matrix and Mad Max figures, has procured licensing to make figures of Rambo and Steven Segal. Rumor has it that they are also in negotiations to secure the rights to produce figures based on Terminator.

McFarlane Toys has announced that they will be producing a large line of figures based on the upcoming CGI movie Shrek. They will also be making a figure of the X-Files' Flukeman, which will be a Collector's Club exclusive. Rumor has it that Pulp Fiction's Jules and Vincent may be set for the new round of Movie Maniacs. Still no word on whether or not we will ever see more Metal Gear Solid figures. Originally it was suppose to be based on whether or not the first series sold well, and then on whether or not there would be another game. Both things have happened, but I have not been able to confirm whether more will actually be produced.

The ALIENS: Thanatos Encounter game for Gameboy Color has been pushed back to February 17.
